Travel and Transportation
This meeting will take place in Moscone North/South, located at 747 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Some events (majority social and committee meetings) will take place in the headquarters hotel, San Francisco Marriott Marquis, located at 780 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. San Francisco is on Pacific Standard Time.
We strongly recommend that anyone who is traveling via air or train purchase refundable tickets or get trip insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations.
Airports
San Francisco is conveniently served by two airports: San Francisco International Airport (SFO), which is 14 miles south of Moscone Center, and Oakland International Airport (OAK), which is 19 miles east and slightly south of Moscone Center.
Ground Transportation from the San Francisco Airport

Car Service/Shuttles
A list of car services, which can be booked in advance, can be found on the SFO Charter Service information page. Airport Express can be reserved for transport from the airport.
Lyft/Uber
Lyft and Uber pickups are located on Level 5 of the Domestic Garage. See the SFO map for locations. Fares can range from \$30 to \$90, and the ride takes approximately 22 minutes to go from the airport to the San Francisco Marriott Marquis.
Guests requesting a wheelchair-accessible vehicle may also request a pickup at the Domestic Terminal curbside, where an ADA ramp is available (Terminals 2 and 3). The front side of a crosswalk at Terminal 1 can be used to load a wheelchair. Level 5 is also ADA accessible.
Lyft and Uber can drop off customers curbside on the departures or arrivals levels, or on Level 5 of the Domestic Garage. Customers should request arrivals or garage drop-offs at peak times, whenever possible, to avoid traffic on the departures level.

Public Transit

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit System): The SFO BART Station is located on the Departures/Ticketing Level of the International Terminal (G Gates side). BART can be accessed easily from any terminal by riding SFO's AirTrain to the Garage G/BART Station stop.
It takes approximately 30 minutes to get to downtown San Francisco and it currently costs \$10. The nearest stations to Moscone Center are the Montgomery Street Station and the Powell Street stations. The Powell Street station is nearest to the San Francisco Marriott Marquis.
AirTrain operates 24 hours daily and provides free service throughout the airport. Stations are located in all terminals, terminal parking garages, the Rental Car Center, and SFO's BART Station.
Bus Service (SamTrans/MUNI): Downtown San Francisco is accessible by bus from the San Francisco Airport. SamTrans routes 292 and 398 stop at the Rental Car Center. Routes ECR and 397 provide limited late-night service. Please check the MUNI trip planner for available routes. It shows the SamTrans buses. Buses also stop at Terminals 2, 3, and the International Terminal; see the map for details. Detailed information about fares is located on the fares page. The trip to downtown will take approximately one hour and costs \$2.25.
General: To reach Moscone North/South, take BART or MUNI to the Montgomery Street station at 598 Market Street, which is approximately half a mile from Moscone Center. To go to Moscone Center from the Montgomery Street Station, head southeast on Market Street, turn left onto 3rd Street, and then turn right onto Howard Street. Moscone Center will be on the right. To go to Moscone Center from the Powell Street station, head toward Market Street and turn left, turn right onto 4th Street, and then turn left onto Howard Street. The nearest BART stop to the Marriott Marquis is Powell Street. MUNI has several stops along Market Street.
Rental Cars
To access the Rental Car Center from the airport terminals, take the AirTrain Blue Line. The address of the center is 780 N. McDonnell Road, San Francisco, CA 94128.
Driving Directions
To drive from the San Francisco Airport to the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, take US-101 from the Airport Access Road, and follow 101 to Bryant Street. Take Exit 2 from I-80 East, then take 3rd Street to Mission Street. See Google map directions.
Ground Transportation from the Oakland International Airport

Car Service, Shuttles, Taxis

Public Transit
BART is the most convenient form of public transit from the Oakland airport. The BART station is located across the street from the OAK terminals. The train ride from OAK to the Coliseum BART station, which provides connecting service to all BART destinations, is approximately eight minutes. The stop nearest Moscone Center is the Montgomery Street Station, and the stop nearest the Marriott Marquis is the Powell Street station.Currently, the fare is \$12.
Lyft/Uber/Wingz
The location for Lyft, Uber, and Wingz pick-ups is on the third curb at Sections 3C2-3C9. See the terminal map for the exact location and the OAK Rideshare page for more information. The trip takes 35-45 minutes, depending on the route taken, and the fare ranges from \$59 to \$72.
Rental Cars
To get to the Rental Care Center, take the rental car shuttle. The Rental Car Center is located at 7600 Earhart Road, Oakland, CA 94621. The shuttle operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and runs approximately every 10 minutes. Please see the OAK Rental Car page for more information and a map.
Driving Directions

Public Transit in San Francisco
Moscone Center is easily accessible by public transit. BART offers regional service and MUNI Metro(SFMTA) provides light rail throughout the city.

If you are traveling within California in an area serviced by Caltrain, Caltrain stops at 700 4th Street (Zone 1, San Francisco-4th and Townsend), approximately nine-tenth of a mile from Moscone Center. There are several possible routes from the train station to Moscone North/South. The shortest walking route is to head northeast on Townsend Street toward 4th Street, turn left onto 4th Street, turn right onto Folsom Street, turn left, and take the stairs. Then, turn left toward Howard Street and take a sharp right onto Howard Street.
Parking
Moscone Center Garage is located on 255 3rd Street San Francisco, CA 94103. Its phone number is (415) 765-9069. It is open seven days a week, 6:00 am - 10:00 pm each day.
- The current hourly rate is \$3 an hour, except between noon and 3:00 pm, when it is \$4 per hour.
- The Early Bird Flat Rate is \$18 per day. This is available Monday-Friday. To qualify for this rate, you must enter between 6:00 am and 9:00 am and exit before 9:00 pm on the same day.
- The 12-hour maximum is per day is \$29, and the 24-hour maximum/lost ticket rate is \$35 per day.
