Manual Health Pass Procedures for International Participants, Minors who are 14 – 17 years old, and Participants who do not have devices that support the CLEAR app

International Participants

International participants will not be able to use CLEAR because CLEAR cannot validate their documents. The procedure for them instead will be:

Before checking in or on-site registration (Day 1)

  • Fill out your health survey and sign it. A blank health survey will be emailed to you prior to the meeting and additional blank copies will be available at registration. Please print, complete, and sign this form.
  • Bring your proof of vaccination, a photo id, and a completed copy of the health survey to the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Grand Ballroom AB, 2nd floor. All documents must be in English. Go directly to Health Protocol Manager’s desk located next to the CLEAR desk in the foyer outside the ballroom. The Health Protocol Manager (HPM) will review your documents and determine if you are able to continue with registration. The HPM will keep your completed survey, but not copies of vaccination cards or photo ids. Once you are approved, please enter the ballroom to print your badge. Only those who are cleared by the HPM will be allowed to print a badge.
  • Self-print your meeting badge in the ballroom and receive a color-coded sticker for that day. Place the sticker on your badge. The stickers will be monitored by staff and security throughout the meeting so all stickers must remain on badges until you receive the next day’s sticker.
  • Follow all other JMM Health Protocols.

At the start of each day (Day 2+)

Fill out a new copy of the health survey and sign it. Bring it to the HPM’s Desk in the foyer of the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Grand Ballroom AB, 2nd floor. You must have your badge with you and it must have the previous day’s sticker on it. If you do not, you will need to go through the vetting process from Day 1 again. The HPM will review your documents and determine if you are approved to participate that day or not. If approved, you will be handed a sticker for that day. Please add the sticker to your badge and continue enjoying the meeting. If you are not approved, you will need to take further measures as documented in the JMM Health Protocols.

Participants who do not have devices that support CLEAR

The procedure for participants that do not have devices that support CLEAR will be as follows:

Before checking in or on-site registration (Day 1)

  • Fill out your health survey and sign it. A blank health survey will be emailed to you prior to the meeting and additional blank copies will be available at registration. Please print, complete, and sign this form.
  • Bring your proof of vaccination, or proof of a negative PCR test 72 hours before travel, a photo id, and your completed health survey to the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Grand Ballroom AB, 2nd floor. All documents must be in English. Go directly to Health Protocol Manager’s desk located next to the CLEAR desk in the foyer outside the ballroom. The Health Protocol Manager (HPM) will review your documents and determine if you are approved to continue with registration inside the ballroom.

Minors (14 – 17 years)

Minors who are 13 years and younger do not need a health pass to attend the meeting. They are, however, required to wear a mask.

Parents and guardians who are 26 years or older can add their children under their account. The minimum age to enroll as a minor is 14 years. To set up a minor account:

  • Create your account on CLEAR
  • Go to the Profile page (icon at bottom of page that looks like a person). Click on that icon.
  • Click on “Minor Accounts”.
  • Click on “Add Minor”.
  • Enter an email address and have the minor close by as you continue the set-up process.
  • After adding the required information, hand your phone to the minor to capture their face.
  • Minor will continue the liveness check. Once this is done, you will need to create an email and password for/with the minor.
  • Once a password for the minor created, the minor is all set to use Health Pass. They can log in and use Health Pass with a mobile device.
  • Minor is expected to follow all other JMM Health Protocols.
