The JMM 2022 Is Postponed
Due to serious concerns regarding the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the organizing partners of the Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM) decided to postpone the 2022 JMM, originally scheduled to be held in Seattle, January 5-8. A virtual JMM is being planned for April 6-9, 2022, Pacific Time.
All program participants will be contacted in the near future regarding rescheduling.
For a meeting of this scale, logistics could not be arranged in time to hold all sessions virtually on the originally scheduled dates.
Update: The 2022 JMM will be held virtually April 6-9. We hope you will be able to attend. We will contact all previously confirmed presenters and organizers regarding their participation for these new dates.
Further details will be made available here as they're confirmed.
Everyone’s registration fee will be 100% refunded. You will receive an email from AMS Meetings staff when your refund has been processed. You do not need to contact us to arrange the refund.
We are still actively working to process refunds and expect to complete all refunds by January 11, 2022. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have not received your refund by that date. We thank you for your patience.
If you reserved your hotel room when you registered for the meeting through the JMM Passkey portal, your hotel registration was automatically canceled by the hotel. You should have received an email confirming this cancellation. If you have not received a confirmation of your cancellation from any hotel except the Sheraton, please contact the hotel directly. If you have not received a confirmation of your cancellation from the Sheraton, please email us at email@example.com. There will be no charges for the room or cancellation.
If you reserved your hotel outside of our JMM Passkey portal when you registered, you will need to contact your hotel directly to cancel your reservation.
Employment Center and Other Time-Sensitive Components
Meeting organizers are working to reschedule time-sensitive components of the JMM, such as the Employment Center, to the more-immediate future. Further details will be made available as soon as they are available.
The JMM organizing partners thank all participants, presenters, exhibitors, and staff for your flexibility and patience. We extend our best wishes to everyone for your health and well-being. Further information regarding the virtual meeting will be communicated as we make arrangements. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you have.
