AMS Book Program
The mission of the AMS Book Program is to serve the mathematical community by publishing books that further mathematical research, awareness, education, and the profession while generating resources that support other programs and activities of the Society. The AMS has been publishing books for the advancement of mathematics and science since 1905. As a professional society of mathematicians and one of the world’s leading publishers of mathematical literature, we publish books that meet the highest standards for their content and production.
The majority of AMS books appear in one of our Monograph, Collections and Proceedings, or Copublication series. The AMS also publishes and distributes many titles that do not fit into a specific series. These books may be geared towards a certain readership or may have broad appeal to anyone interested in mathematics. Some of the books are dedicated to the teaching of mathematics and career development, while others are geared towards a specific discipline or education level.
